Candidates must have NCCCO TLL and TSS or the ability to obtain TSS within probationary period, possess or obtain NCCCO RIG-I, TTR-I, and SGP within probationary period, and hold a Commercial Class A or B License.
The role requires participation in callout/standby coverage, and occasionally an altered work schedule over an extended period may be required for maintenance outages and turnarounds.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, five years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator/Rigger or military equivalent, NCCCO certifications, and a Commercial Class A or B License.
Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, navigate stairs, work at heights, outside in inclement weather, and occasionally wear a respirator, PAPR, or SCBA.
Strong candidates will meet all minimum qualifications, have previous refinery or chemical plant experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to operate medium and earth moving equipment like forklifts, manlifts, backhoes, and loaders.
