Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years prior work experience in courier, freight handling, or similar roles preferred
Current state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must be able to work assigned hours as determined by the manager
Ability to lift, bend, and maneuver freight up to 60 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods

Responsibilities

Navigate predefined routes via automobile to deliver mail and parcels, ensuring timely and safe delivery
Manage the loading, unloading, and proper distribution of freight, adhering to safety and efficiency protocols
Assist with the organization and management of shipping and receiving areas as dock support
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on delivery vehicles to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety regulations
Maintain accurate logs and time stamps for items received and delivered, supporting chain of custody and company compliance
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and SPS employees
Proactively seek out additional tasks during downtime and provide support across operational areas
