Requirements

  • 4-year degree in Accounting or a related business from a recognized university
  • 4-7+ years of cost accounting experience
  • Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Seeking CPA or CMA a plus
  • Exceptional Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, Acumatica, etc
  • Ability to work and communicate well with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently in a very fast-paced environment
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Excellent variance analysis and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Critical contributor to day-to-day accounting processes and procedures for Crusoe’s Tulsa manufacturing entities
  • Participate in month-end close
  • Review plant expenses, accurate inventory costing, review of manufacturing order reports for costing, and investigate variances
  • Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor
  • Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports of WIP
  • Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
  • Assisting in developing and documenting key processes, developing standard operational procedures, and identifying key internal controls
  • Assisting with monitoring cycle count program, year-end physical inventory, and reporting results
  • Reconciling raw material and finished goods inventories
  • Partnering with production, engineering, and supply chain teams at all branches to understand operational processes and their impact on costs
  • Assist with periodic audit requests
