Requirements

  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with junior level clients
  • Experience providing administrative support (status reports, meeting scheduling, budget tracking, competitor reviews)
  • Experience creating written media materials (press releases, thought leadership articles, executive profiling pitches)
  • Ability to develop relationships with key media contacts at national, broadcast, and trade press
  • Comfortable attending weekly calls and maintaining contact with clients via email/phone to ensure on-time delivery
  • Willingness to learn agency capabilities across CE, PR, Advertising, Social and Influence, Consulting and B2B
  • Beginning to manage the creation of communications assets and understanding production processes
  • Ability to manage small projects and support senior colleagues on larger projects
  • Experience with project management or workflow systems data entry and reporting
  • Ability to perform basic analyses of client’s business results and competitive landscapes
  • Proactive in anticipating needs and mitigating hurdles
  • Ability to manage project finance, recognise scope change, and escalate when needed
  • Experience assisting with onboarding of new team members
  • Ability to establish and build internal relationships across megabusinesses and colleagues in Strategy, Programme Management, Creative, etc

Responsibilities

  • Create media materials including drafting press releases and thought leadership content
  • Develop relationships with journalists across national, broadcast, and trade press to deliver client objectives
  • Attend weekly calls and maintain ongoing client contact to ensure work is delivered to a high standard
  • Learn and work with agency capabilities across CE, PR, Advertising, Social and Influence, Consulting and B2B
  • Begin to manage the making of communications assets and understand Ogilvy’s processes and production landscape
  • Manage small projects and support more senior colleagues on larger projects
  • Assist with project management/workflow system data entry and reporting
  • Perform basic analyses of client’s business results and competitive landscapes
  • Anticipate upcoming needs and provide ideas to mitigate hurdles
  • Stay on top of projects and finances, recognize scope changes, escalate as needed
  • Assist with onboarding of new team members
  • Establish and build internal relationships with other megabusinesses and colleagues across Strategy, Programme Management, Creative, etc
