Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of formal education and job-related experience
Experience in the use and function of office equipment, including computers, applicable software (e.g., PowerPoint), and audio/visual equipment
Experience and ability to develop and present information and presentations
Knowledge of legal and oil and gas industry, including FERC
Knowledge of social media
Ability to interview, advise, persuade, and communicate effectively
Ability to read and interpret governmental/regulatory reports, administrative regulations, company policies/procedures, industry publications, legal opinions/journals, and correspondence
Ability to manage projects
Ability to research, analyze, compile, and prepare investigative reports, correspondence, and confidential information
Ability to gather, sort, index, and present large quantities of information
Ability to communicate with senior management on sensitive corporate matters
Ability to communicate/exchange written and verbal information and instructions
Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred
Paralegal certification preferred

Responsibilities
Research, select, and retrieve documents/information from online and printed legal/non-legal sources for compliance and ethics materials
Create, update, and present training materials; maintain, coordinate, and track training presentations, including compliance/ethics certifications and acknowledgements
Manage, investigate, process, and prepare reports on energy regulations compliance, violations of law, and company policies/procedures
Analyze and evaluate compliance program procedures/processes using metrics; provide feedback and recommend changes
Compile, research, analyze, and prepare confidential information, including statistical, compliance, and training reports
Act as liaison with other compliance/ethics offices and vendors for training materials/programs/services
Conduct information gathering for government filings and requests from federal/state enforcement authorities
Maintain and oversee compliance/ethics information, policies, complaints, and postings in databases; work with IT to improve databases and implement reporting features
Provide guidance and information on compliance-related activities within the organization
Act as point person with Corporate Communications and IT to develop, implement, and maintain ethics website on company intranet
Assist in updating company policies/forms and developing/implementing new compliance procedures
Develop and coordinate compliance/ethics surveys for employees
