Requirements

Candidates should have 7 years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant, preferably with a Big 4 background. Strong experience with SAP or other large ERP systems is required, along with the ability to understand and apply U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements. Excellent program and project management skills, strong relationship-building and influencing skills, strategic thinking ability, and experience in a deadline-driven, adaptable environment are essential. Experience leveraging or critically thinking about integrating AI into work processes is also required.

Responsibilities

The Corporate Accounting Manager will drive close optimization and assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end corporate accounting close activities, including reviewing and approving journal entries and account reconciliations. They will identify and implement opportunities to improve close processes for efficiency, effectiveness, consistency, and scalability. Responsibilities include reviewing fluctuation analyses, summarizing them for management reporting decks, managing a team of 3 people, and partnering with team members across various locations. The role involves coordinating with external auditors, investigating and resolving complex accounting issues, tracking progress against close and accounting operations metrics, and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure appropriate governance over global processes.
