Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
At least 3 years of corporate accounting or public accounting experience
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
Advanced Excel skills
Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively across departments
Experience with financial consolidation and multi-entity reporting (preferred)
Knowledge of SOX compliance (preferred)
Public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier firm) experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Assisting in the consolidation of financial data for corporate reporting
Ensuring compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements
Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations
Performing month-end and year-end closing procedures
Investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial records
Assisting with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Supporting tax preparation and filings by ensuring accurate financial data
Analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Working closely with AP/AR, payroll, and other departments to ensure accurate financial transactions
Providing financial insights to support business decisions
