Requirements

  • Expertise in Windows and Linux server environments
  • Expertise in SQL and Oracle administration
  • Experience with Core database systems, including DNA UX, CMC, SAF, Application Manager, tMagic, and Multipoint systems
  • Knowledge of PCI Compliance, including identification and encryption of sensitive data
  • Ability to perform SQL scripting for data mining, building reports, creating formatted data files, and researching data integrity issues
  • Experience with disaster recovery planning and setup
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills for complex systems
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and serve as main point of contact
  • Mentoring and cross-training skills for System Support Specialists
  • Availability for 24/7 on-call technical assistance

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex troubleshooting and maintenance of databases and mission-critical Core processing systems
  • Lead and coordinate system updates, testing, new feature rollouts, and identify new opportunities within applications
  • Design, setup, maintenance, integration, and optimization of Core processing systems
  • Ensure integrity of Core Databases, including oversight of disaster recovery strategy
  • Oversee user access and integration implementations, maintaining relationship with Database Administrator
  • Serve as main point of contact for vendor relationships related to Core database and ancillary systems
  • Provide advanced support for System Support Specialists and Senior System Support Specialists
  • Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement IT solutions aligned with business needs
  • Lead integration efforts and support corporate projects through technical guidance and design reviews
  • Identify and resolve problems in design, quality, or operation, and initiate corrective actions
  • Identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance of Core Processing system and ancillary solutions
  • Manage complex system configurations, software installation, debugging, and user support
  • Maintain PCI Compliance within Core systems and workflows
  • Overlook and maintain Disaster Recovery plan for core systems
  • Research Core database capabilities to identify opportunities or errors with business units
  • Analyze processes and provide design recommendations for improvements
  • Serve as subject matter expert for all Core systems and projects
  • Act as liaison between departments for workflows, processes, data collection, reporting, and technical issues
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues, responding to system outages
  • Maintain relationships with Database Administrator and vendors for updates and customizations
  • Monitor, evaluate, and resolve user access requests to maintain database integrity
  • Provide mentoring and cross-training to System Support Specialists
  • Provide 24/7 on-call technical assistance and document work in helpdesk software
  • Maintain professional image, demonstrate RISE Values, and adhere to Code of Ethics
