Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Law, or related fields
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Tax or Income Tax compliance, preferably in multinational environments
  • Strong understanding of Brazilian tax legislation (IRPJ, CSLL, JCP, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing)
  • Experience with royalty and IOE/JCP calculations, monthly tax closings, and tax reconciliations
  • Solid analytical and reporting skills with ability to interpret tax impacts
  • Experience with SAP, OneSource, Mastersaf, or similar ERP/reporting systems
  • Advanced English (oral and written) required; Spanish is a plus
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to train or support cross-border teams

Responsibilities

  • Perform the monthly income tax closing (IRPJ/CSLL), ensuring consistency between accounting and tax bases
  • Execute the calculation and analysis of Interest on Equity (IOE), considering deductibility limits and applicable regulations
  • Conduct tax planning analyses aimed at optimizing the effective tax burden within legal parameters
  • Prepare and review royalty calculations and related withholding taxes, ensuring proper tax treatment
  • Provide technical training and support to regional teams (e.g., Buenos Aires team) on calculation processes and methodologies
  • Prepare reconciliations, reports, and audit support documentation for internal and external reviews
  • Contribute to process improvements and strengthen tax compliance controls within the monthly closing routine
