  • Effective communication skills with Service/Installation/Project Managers and Site Managers about job planning, execution, progression, and personnel movements
  • Ability to prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and future reference
  • Knowledge of Quality procedures, documentation, Site Quality Check Lists, Job Cards, Field Procedures, and Non-Conformity resolution using Baker Hughes e-tools
  • Compliance with local legislation, site Safety Manual, Quality and HSE Rules

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site technical direction on control systems installation, including loop checks, system tests during start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance on customer-owned sites in remote oilfield, power generation, and industrial facilities
  • Supervise positioning and wiring of control panels (e.g., Unit Control Panel (UCP), auxiliary panels, Direct Current Panel (DCP), battery charger and cells, Generator Control & Protection Panel (GCPP), Motor Control Center (MCC)), including electrical, pneumatic, primary hook up, and field wiring by client or sub-contractor
  • Check functionality of control sequencing for auxiliary systems (e.g., lube oil system, hydraulic oil system, oil coolers, starting means, enclosure ventilation, Fire & Gas detection, compressor seal oil/dry gas seal systems, process gas coolers, fuel/process gas valves, anti-surge system)
  • Lead Installation, Maintenance, Commissioning Site Activities with proper Customer/Company Schedule Targets, strictly following Quality and HSE Rules
  • Establish critical activity tasks and HSE aspects via immediate Report after Daily HSE Toolbox Talking
  • Preparation of job-planning documents based on Assignment’s Scope of Work (Installation, Upgrade, Outage)
  • Provide input for Daily Outage and Weekly Installation Reports
  • Communicate effectively with Service/Installation/Project Managers and Site Manager about job planning, execution, progression, personnel arrivals/departures
  • Actively participate in customer and/or contractor meetings
  • Ensure Site Quality Check List/Job Cards/Field Procedure are applied, relevant documentation signed, reports and drawings “marked-up” completed
  • Ensure all Non-Conformity (technical and materials) are properly addressed using Baker Hughes e-tools and followed up to resolution
