Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development within a SaaS environment, working with backend developers and at least 3 years of experience as a senior team member. A minimum of 5 years of ReactJS experience is required, along with proficiency in leveraging Javascript conventions, semantic HTML, responsive CSS, and FE design patterns. Strong understanding of modern web app architecture, web fundamentals, developer tooling, unit test writing, and experience with REST APIs and relational databases are essential. Experience with accessibility guidelines and AWS are preferred. Experience working on a fullstack team is also preferred.

Responsibilities

The Senior Frontend Engineer Contractor will help scope, technically assess, plan, and deliver high-quality solutions for signin/registration flows, manage UI for internal tools related to user management, and oversee displays and interactions for user rostering, directory, and organization. This role involves advising and consulting with the Team Lead on projects, FE impacts, and updates, as well as collaborating with the Team Lead and PM on scoping, grooming, and delivery of UI projects. The engineer will write quality code and automated tests, own feature delivery independently, provide input for scoping and design, and work with the lead engineer to break down work, groom tickets, and organize sprints. The role also includes partnering closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design to refine goals into iterative work items.
