Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain or related planning functions
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical production processes, inventory management, and regulatory requirements (GxP, FDA, EMA)
  • Experience with supply chain systems and planning tools (e.g., ERP, forecasting software)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry with exposure to global supply chain operations

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of global supply plans, ensuring alignment with business requirements, regulatory standards, and market needs
  • Help optimize inventory strategies and E2E supply chain configurations by maintaining accurate planning parameters and identifying potential risks
  • Execute planning activities in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and internal SOPs
  • Prepare data, analyses, and scenario models to support the S&OP process
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to review demand, supply, and inventory positions and highlight potential imbalances
  • Assist in resolving supply disruptions, capacity constraints, and forecast discrepancies by providing analysis and recommendations
  • Contribute to the creation of supply plans used for annual budget processes, including capacity, inventory, and purchasing inputs
  • Track and report operational KPIs such as service levels, inventory levels, on-time delivery performance, and forecast accuracy
  • Support the balance of short-term operational needs with longer-term planning considerations
  • Partner with teams including regulatory affairs, quality, commercial, finance, external manufacturing, and logistics to ensure alignment of supply plans
  • Provide planning insights to internal stakeholders and ensure coordinated execution of supply chain activities
  • Work with regional and local teams to support regulatory- and market-specific requirements
  • Participate in initiatives to streamline planning processes and enhance operational efficiency
  • Monitor industry trends, technologies, and regulatory updates relevant to supply planning
  • Support implementation of planning system enhancements and best practices
