  • Degree or ongoing studies in computer science or a similar field
  • Strong background in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS
  • 1-2 years of proven experience working with front-end and content management technologies
  • Knowledge of HTML (XHTML, HTML5), including differences, standards, best practices, layouts from scratch, HTML5 features (video, audio, canvas, SVG, forms, semantic tags), integration with server-side, static website architecture, support for older browsers, compliance standards
  • Knowledge of CSS3 (differences from predecessors, standards, best practices, resets, pixel perfect, cross-browsing, fixes, style sheets from scratch, selectors/properties like rounded borders/gradients/nth-child/transitions/keyframes, responsive design, media queries, mobile layouts)
  • Knowledge of JS (DOM, Core, JSON, AJAX, frameworks like jQuery/Node/Backbone/AngularJS), including variables/statements/functions/operators, standards/best practices (e.g., unobtrusive events), jQuery (selectors/events/effects/animations/AJAX), DOM manipulation, libraries/components, integration/customization of modules/plugins, JSON syntax
  • Understanding of XML/JSON structures and manipulation of XML/JSON files
  • Knowledge of front-end tools (web development and testing tools like Web Developer Tools)
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail to solve complex problems
