Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in construction supervision, with a strong understanding of construction management principles and practices. Experience with project scheduling, budget management, and subcontractor coordination is also required.
The Construction Superintendent will provide leadership and establish effective working relationships on-site, promoting a positive project morale while overseeing the field construction of a project to ensure completion on schedule and within budget, adhering to specified quality standards. They will examine contract documents for design deficiencies and code violations, assist in developing and refining project schedules, coordinate subcontractor activities, verify contractual requirements, obtain necessary permits, and ensure safety and security practices are implemented effectively.
