Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear) from an accredited program
  • Minimum 2 yrs. related job experience
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills within the team/department
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships within the team/department
  • Basic understanding of power generation operations
  • Basic understanding of economic drivers to the business
  • Ability to apply basic problem solving techniques to address routine issues

Responsibilities

  • Be onsite 100% of the time while the assigned construction project(s) are in the field
  • Perform assigned tasks with guidance from supervision
  • Assemble and collate issue specific information to support studies
  • Assist in organization and occasionally lead assigned projects
  • Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Prepare and present routine reports
  • Participate in special projects, committee assignments and routine problem-solving efforts as requested
  • Monitor progression and quality of assigned construction projects
  • Maintain effective working relationships with others, including the EPC Contractor
