Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field) or a relevant scientific discipline. Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in product quality, quality engineering, or a related field within the medical device industry
  • Proven leadership experience in managing quality teams or significant quality projects
  • Demonstrated expertise in quality tools and methodologies such as FMEA, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of Console Product Quality (PQ) for products developed and manufactured within GE Healthcare China
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust PQ processes and procedures in accordance with GE Healthcare's global quality standards and local regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction for console systems
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and Regulatory Affairs teams to integrate quality into every stage of the product development and production process
  • Oversee and conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and monitor their effectiveness
  • Manage product quality metrics, analyze trends, and report on PQ performance to management
  • Support external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations related to console product quality
