Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a premier institute, along with 6+ years of hands-on design and development experience. Deep expertise in modern C++ and object-oriented programming is required, alongside proficiency in debugging, profiling, and writing highly performant native code on platforms such as macOS and Windows. Strong computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of architecture, design, and performance are also necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Computer Scientist - II (C++) at Adobe, you will collaborate with a team of developers to add strategic features to Adobe Creative Cloud – Illustrator, working with a Product Manager and other partners to define the roadmap and scope of releases. You will lead features end-to-end, from requirements gathering to implementation and testing, and maintain existing features while optimizing memory and processing footprint. Furthermore, you will proactively develop methods and techniques for achieving results, contribute to the development of advanced concepts and technologies, address architecture and design issues for future products, and provide strategic direction in evaluating new technologies. You will also contribute significantly towards the development and application of advanced concepts, technologies and expertise within the team, and address cross-platform issues and customer requirements.
