Requirements

Candidates must possess 5+ years of experience with C-based platform languages such as C, C++, or Objective-C in a native development context, along with 3+ years of experience with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript development. A strong understanding of memory management, performance tuning, and system-level development is required, as is familiarity with modern front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. Experience debugging cross-platform applications and working with multi-language codebases is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer – Desktop Application will be responsible for developing and maintaining key components of Keeper’s Electron-based desktop application, managing core development infrastructure including framework upgrades and build processes, collaborating with product, design, and QA teams to define and deliver features, debugging and resolving technical issues in multi-language environments, and maintaining code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and consistent documentation. Furthermore, the role involves advocating for continuous improvements in architecture, processes, and tooling.
