Requirements

Expertise in compute technologies including CPUs, GPUs, bare metal performance, storage profiles, and deployment patterns
Deep knowledge of workload performance, scaling strategy, virtualization, containerization, and hybrid deployment models
Experience translating customer workloads into optimized compute architectures, including sizing, performance mapping, and configuration of bare metal, GPU/accelerated compute, and storage
Ability to deliver technical demos, workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and proofs of concepts
Proficiency in building architecture documentation and maintaining technical notes in CRM systems
Strong collaboration skills with sales teams, product, engineering, procurement, and operations

Responsibilities

Lead compute discovery, architecture design, sizing, and performance mapping for customer workloads in technical pre-sales
Translate technical requirements into tailored bare metal, GPU/accelerated compute, and storage configurations
Deliver technical demos, workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and proofs of concepts; validate solution feasibility and alignment with deployment models
Act as technical compute specialist embedded in Megaport Sales Pods, supporting opportunity qualification and deep technical discussions
Collaborate with Megaport Solution Architects on cloud connectivity or network design when relevant; position combined Megaport + Latitude value proposition
Partner with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback and influence roadmap; work with Procurement and Operations on availability and timelines
Maintain accurate technical notes and solution details in CRM systems; contribute to internal documentation, technical enablement materials, and repeatable solution patterns
Support customers through evaluations, pilots, and onboarding with hands-on technical guidance; troubleshoot early-stage issues
