Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Thermodynamic, or Fluid Dynamic)
  • Previous work experience or knowledge about turbomachinery industry or related areas, and/or Ph.D equivalent on relevant subjects (asset)
  • Experience with CAD software such as Unigraphics or similar
  • Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
  • Problem-solving skills with an analytical approach
  • Teamwork attitude for complex technical issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and ability to work in the EU

Responsibilities

  • Performing design activities
  • Providing technical guidance and sharing project related status updates
  • Providing engineering support to internal teams to assist with activities that span the full, technical project life-cycle
  • Owning the delivery of technical documentation and drawings to ensure consistency with engineering policies and contractual specifications
  • Overseeing relationships with global and local vendors to manage time-zones and successful on-time delivery of required components
