  • Strong technical Aviation claim capability to manage and adjust complex aircraft damage and liability claims
  • Technical expertise in managing/minimizing the total cost of complex Aviation claims
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with NA Aerospace stakeholders, customers, and brokers
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues and problem solve
  • Developed computer proficiency with an aptitude for both common and specialized claims systems programs and applications
  • Self-motivated, ability to manage time and prioritize
  • Willingness to assist in developing teammates’ technical aerospace proficiencies
  • Ability to effectively manage vendors, including attorneys and experts to minimize the total cost of Aerospace claims

Responsibilities

  • Adjustment of complex aircraft damage claims across all sub-classes of Aerospace, with a concentration in complex first party and third party general aviation claims
  • Function as a key account contact for multiple programs across all sub-classes of Aerospace
  • Serve as a technical referral point for NA Aerospace claim team members
  • Collaborate with NA Aerospace Claim leaders, Global and NA Aerospace underwriting business leads and stakeholders to deliver a consistent, efficient and customer centric NA Aerospace claim proposition
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders as well as global, regional, and local aerospace customers and brokers
  • Identify, and report claim trends, lessons learned and risk management opportunities to Aerospace stakeholders
  • Support underwriting partners in account management and new business development
  • Actively participate in team talent development through internal training programs and informal mentoring
