High School Diploma
Demonstrated interest in community, social justice, public health and/or local economies
Ease and comfort with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions, and perceptions; ability to treat all people with equity and respect
Able to work independently and interdependently with other staff and volunteers
Basic computer skills and knowledge of community resources preferred
Excellent customer service skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic team atmosphere
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
Certifications per hiring department requirements (e.g., ServSafe Certification)
May require a valid Driver's License
Adaptable, kind, comfortable engaging with community members, actively involved in moving inventory, and working outdoors in all types of weather

Responsibilities

Develop relationships, conduct preventative health screenings, provide health-related education and resource information to members of the community
Educate and/or enroll patients and/or community members to needed programs and services, track appointments, and provide follow-up for missed appointments and opportunities, complete data as needed
General clerical duties, inventory/order of supplies, attend resource events and display set up
Support the Mobile Farmer’s Market by delivering fresh food directly to neighborhoods and working closely with the mobile unit collaborative team
