Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial solar installation, electrical, or construction (electrical coding strongly desired)
  • Can physically lift, bend, squat, and haul 50+ lbs
  • Capable of working in hot climates
  • Introduction to commercial solar mechanical and electrical principles
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR required to drive company vehicles
  • Willingness to travel weeks at a time across the US, 90% of the year (position based out of Austin, TX)

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of installers on commercial solar projects (10kW to 1MW systems)
  • Safely execute quality workmanship and timely completion of work assignments
  • Ensure proper safety, quality, and attitude per all company policies
  • Perpetuate the mission, goals, and values of Freedom Solar Power
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
