Requirements

  • 10 years prior experience working in the field as an electrician
  • Valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, maintenance, and repair
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with superiors, subordinates, vendors, and personnel
  • Skill in the use and care of all hand and shop tools and equipment of the electrician's trade
  • Experience working with both simple and complex electrical systems

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the installation on all phases of electrical equipment such as main switchgear and lighting
  • Plan, assign, schedule, and supervise the work of electricians and helpers engaged in the construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, fixtures, apparatus, and appliances
  • Participate with all work
  • Install all components of power and lighting systems including devices, fixtures, conduit, gear, etc
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Communicate and coordinate with superiors, subordinates, vendors, and personnel
  • Perform general electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures
