Requirements

  • Current ADCI Air Supervisor Certification Card
  • Diploma from an accredited ADCI dive program
  • 3+ years of diving experience
  • Valid diving physical (fit to dive)
  • Valid CPR/First Aid card
  • Valid O2 provider card
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Ability to travel extensively (primarily May-October), including extended deployments, long hours, weekend work, and strenuous fieldwork in inclement weather
  • Ability to lift 50lb+, work in water conditions, stand, sit, and perform manual labor
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team of divers
  • Experience with boat operations and trailering

  • Ability to work effectively within a team of experienced dive supervisors and commercial divers
  • Proficiency in maintaining and managing diving equipment and work boats

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and manage safe and efficient diving tasks, primarily in rivers with limited visibility, including overseeing biological inspections and general commercial diving maintenance and inspection tasks
  • Provide topside support for diving operations, including tending, setup/breakdown of equipment, and daily maintenance/housekeeping
  • Ensure diving equipment is well-maintained and prepared for operations, including routine checks and necessary repairs
  • Assist in light construction projects and freshwater mussel surveys as part of broader marine services operations
  • Supervise Commercial Diver field activities
