Responsibilities

  • Operate collating equipment (90%): organize job tickets by components, load rolls of product onto collator or remove stock from shelves and place in collator bins, collate components into sets according to job requirements, jog sets into stacks, record job number on production sheet, calculate quantity of sets per job, re-collates sets for reruns, place stacks of sets on rails or skids, troubleshoot collator equipment as needed
  • Operate Polar Cutters
  • Operate industrial power equipment (e.g., forklift or pallet jack)
  • Collate checkbook or multiple form components in the correct order for further processing
  • Ensure accuracy of items printed on components; if applicable, ensure numbers match ply to ply
  • Insert carbon when required
  • Clean and restock workstation as necessary (5%)
  • Perform other job duties as assigned (5%)
  • Make decisions on stock specifications, prioritize sequence of jobs, determine if equipment is in proper working order, troubleshoot issues including collating equipment problems, involve peers or leaders as needed
