  • Willing to sign and abide by Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines
  • Able to read and write to complete daily checklists
  • Able to use safe lifting techniques
  • Able to regularly push and pull empty farm and setter buggies on casters weighing approximately 200 pounds
  • Able to regularly lift egg flats weighing 506 grams
  • Able to regularly dump cull eggs weighing approximately 12 pounds
  • Able to regularly lift chick boxes weighing approximately 2 pounds
  • Able to obtain scissor lift certification
  • Able to regularly bend, stoop, and reach above head
  • Able to stand majority of shift on concrete floor, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
  • Preferred: Previous agricultural or production experience

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize 26 setter buggies using a pressure washer (35%)
  • Place approximately 2,520 egg flats weighing 506 grams into a washer to be washed and sanitized (35%)
  • Wash and sanitize approximately 42 farm buggies using pressure washer (35%)
  • Dump cull eggs
  • Pull empty farm and setter buggies to the Egg Room
  • Wash and sanitize both sides of the pull room and the dirty side box room with pressure washer (20%)
  • Other duties as assigned, such as properly euthanizing weak/ill chicks in accordance with company policy (10%)
