Must reside in the United States
Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience preferred
Must be willing to sign an agreement to avoid any avian species (chickens, ducks, birds, etc.)
Must be willing to sign and abide by the Company Biosecurity and Company Animal Welfare Guidelines
Must shower, change clothing and footwear before entering the biosecure facility (company provides appropriate clothing and footwear)
No jewelry except medical ID jewelry; body piercings must be covered by appropriate clothing
Must use safe lifting techniques and regularly stoop/bend over to floor level and reach up to cages
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
Ability to perform simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) for recording information
Available for varying schedule including weekends, holidays, 6:00am–4:00pm shifts, 4 days per week (averaging 40 hours, subject to change)

Responsibilities

Feeds, waters, and weighs birds according to schedules (30%)
Cleans and disinfects waterers, changes and cleans nest pads, dusts nests, cleans walls and ceilings, maintains male cages in a clean state, and performs other routine housekeeping duties (20%)
Performs simple math as part of recording information according to instructions and Cobb standards (e.g., bird weight, medications, feed intake, mortality) (15%)
Observes, grades, and records male quality according to Cobb standards (15%)
Inspects poultry for diseases and removes weak, ill, and dead poultry from flock (10%)
Monitors feed, water, illumination, and ventilation systems
Properly euthanizes weak/ill birds in accordance with company policy
Performs sanitation of breakroom and vehicles (10%)
Attends to and cares for up to 900 male birds; inspects males to ascertain quality and fitness
Other duties as assigned, which may change as needed per production needs
