Must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview
Preferred: Previous agricultural or production experience
Able to shower, change clothing and footwear before entering the biosecure facility (company provides appropriate clothing and footwear)
No jewelry except medical ID; body piercings must be covered
Able to work Monday through Friday, including holidays, 6:00am to 2:00pm (schedule subject to change based on production needs)
Willing to undergo background check if required

Responsibilities

Remove used litter from poultry houses (70%)
Clean and disinfect poultry houses and all equipment (including vehicles/tractors) using commercial pressure washer on wet/slick floors (70%)
Place new shavings in houses following cleaning (70%)
Move birds as required to growing houses, laying/pedigree houses, or live haul loading area; ensure wingbands are removed for load-outs (10%)
Maintain tractors, pressure washers, litter truck, trailers, and mechanical equipment; perform weekly and maintenance safety checks (10%)
Bush hogging and/or mowing around poultry houses
Maintain and assist with housekeeping standards in working areas
Inspect birds to determine quality and progress by weighing weekly
Sanitize storage areas, breakroom, boot rooms, equipment, and vehicles
Organize breeder tags and grounds-keeping
Properly euthanize selected or weak/ill birds in accordance with company policy
Assist in special or non-routine projects inside and outside the department
Repair cages, pens, equipment, buildings, or fenced yards
Perform farm cleanup such as garbage/litter retrieval
