Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Springfield Police Department to provide crisis intervention and support in the community
Coordinate services and develop local systems of care for individuals with behavioral health needs
Adhere to all safety guidelines and officer directives regarding scene security
Document and track all interventions according to agency standards and regulations
Assist law enforcement with Involuntary Detention procedures when appropriate
Provide training and consultation on behavioral health issues for Springfield Police Department
