Requirements

  • Must hold credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB), including one of: CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC-P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP-D
  • OR hold credentials of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined by the MCB, such as Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services field (non-licensed) or certified/credentialed to provide services within scope of practice
  • For ITCD Program: If under one year of experience, must actively acquire 24 hours of ITCD-specific training and receive supervision from experienced team members
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current insurance

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy for co-occurring disorders in community or home settings
  • Facilitate group counseling, education, family conferences, and crisis interventions
  • Conduct assessments and screenings to identify client needs
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans in compliance with state guidelines
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive client care
  • Document services accurately and within required timeframes
  • Engage clients using motivational interviewing and stage-of-change approaches
  • Track client progress and adjust interventions based on readiness and recovery goals
  • Educate and support clients in making healthier choices and enhancing daily functioning
  • Participate in team meetings and provide clinical input on cases
  • Support client transitions through discharge planning and summary reports
  • Provide cross-training and support to fellow team members
  • Represent the agency professionally within the community
