Requirements

Must hold credentials of a Qualified Addiction Professional as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board (MCB), including one of: CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, RADC-P, RADC, CCDP, CCDP-D
OR hold credentials of a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined by the MCB, such as Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a human services field (non-licensed) or certified/credentialed to provide services within scope of practice
For ITCD Program: If under one year of experience, must actively acquire 24 hours of ITCD-specific training and receive supervision from experienced team members
Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current insurance

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group therapy for co-occurring disorders in community or home settings
Facilitate group counseling, education, family conferences, and crisis interventions
Conduct assessments and screenings to identify client needs
Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans in compliance with state guidelines
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive client care
Document services accurately and within required timeframes
Engage clients using motivational interviewing and stage-of-change approaches
Track client progress and adjust interventions based on readiness and recovery goals
Educate and support clients in making healthier choices and enhancing daily functioning
Participate in team meetings and provide clinical input on cases
Support client transitions through discharge planning and summary reports
Provide cross-training and support to fellow team members
Represent the agency professionally within the community
