Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux systems, including deep knowledge of kernel internals (scheduling, memory management, file systems, networking)
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Go, or Python
  • Proven experience with IAM systems and Kubernetes RBAC; understanding of compliance frameworks such as GDPR and NYDFS
  • Expertise in managing containerized workloads and building scalable, secure cloud systems
  • Problem-solver with the ability to identify cross-functional issues and drive end-to-end resolutions
  • Experience mentoring others, leading small-scale initiatives, and collaborating across teams
  • Security-first mindset in both design and operations

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable IAM and Kubernetes RBAC solutions to govern secure access for users and services
  • Build automation and diagnostic tools in Go and Java to streamline platform operations and boost reliability
  • Partner with global security teams to embed regulatory requirements such as NYDFS and GDPR into development workflows
  • Architect observability frameworks that deliver deep visibility into application health and security posture
  • Identify and close system-level gaps to improve platform resilience and security compliance
  • Champion secure design principles and operational excellence across the cloud platform
