Minimum 2 years of experience
15 years full-time education
Good understanding of AWS services related to data engineering (e.g., Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, AWS Glue)
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
Some experience or coursework in programming languages such as Python or Java (preferred)
Must have skills: AWS Analytics
Good to have skills: Banking Strategy
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Practical experience with AWS or data engineering tasks (preferred)
Knowledge of data modelling concepts and ETL processes (preferred)
Familiarity with version control systems like Git (preferred)

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services (e.g., AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Amazon Redshift)
Support data integration tasks, including extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources
Help monitor and optimize data workflows to ensure efficient performance and data accuracy
Work with senior data engineers and other team members to understand data requirements and implement solutions
Participate in data modelling and schema design activities to support business intelligence and analytics
Assist with data quality assurance tasks, including data validation and error troubleshooting
Document processes, data flows, and technical configurations as needed
Stay up-to-date with AWS services and data engineering best practices
Designs, builds, tests, and deploys cloud application solutions that integrate cloud and non-cloud infrastructure
Deploy infrastructure and platform environments
Create proof of architecture to test architecture viability, security, and performance
