Requirements

  • 7 years of software development experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment (Python / Bash preferred)
  • 6 months of provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using automation and tools such as Terraform
  • 2+ years working with Platform as a Service technologies such as Kubernetes
  • 1+ year deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones, implementing and developing Azure policies, command-line interfaces, network technologies including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
  • Experience operating with AWS
  • Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security+ and a cloud service provider certification
  • Active Top Secret clearance (SCI Eligible)
  • Located within a 120-mile radius of Charlottesville, VA (Hybrid 4–6 times per month)

Responsibilities

  • Setting up networking connections between Azure and an on-prem environment and also to the AWS cloud
  • Containerization, automation, and scripting of infrastructure as code
  • Configuration and integration of services
  • Monitoring and stability of the management infrastructure
  • Developing hardened machine images (e.g., Azure VM)
  • Ensuring STIG compliance
  • Developing custom services to facilitate security inheritance
