Requirements

7 years of software development experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment (Python / Bash preferred)
6 months of provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps and continuous delivery environment using automation and tools such as Terraform
2+ years working with Platform as a Service technologies such as Kubernetes
1+ year deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones, implementing and developing Azure policies, command-line interfaces, network technologies including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
Experience operating with AWS
Compliance with DoDD 8570.01-M IA certifications; IAT Level II baseline and computing environment certifications such as Security+ and a cloud service provider certification
Active Top Secret clearance (SCI Eligible)
Located within a 120-mile radius of Charlottesville, VA (Hybrid 4–6 times per month)

Responsibilities

Setting up networking connections between Azure and an on-prem environment and also to the AWS cloud
Containerization, automation, and scripting of infrastructure as code
Configuration and integration of services
Monitoring and stability of the management infrastructure
Developing hardened machine images (e.g., Azure VM)
Ensuring STIG compliance
Developing custom services to facilitate security inheritance
