Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong foundation in full SDLC for serverless applications in cloud environments (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions)
  • Demonstrable capability with writing complex SQL (SQL Server, Postgres, BigQuery or similar) in event-driven architecture with messaging tools (Pub/Sub, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar), HTTP triggers, and webhooks
  • Proficient in developing serverless applications in Javascript/Node.js
  • Familiarity with development in cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience with full SDLC including CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with TypeScript
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with data pipeline orchestration such as Airflow

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and deploy serverless applications in cloud environment to support web functionalities
  • Ensure comprehensive unit test coverage for all developed software
  • Work closely with product teams to understand and implement requirements
  • Contribute to the improvement of the development process and best practices
  • Stay updated with new technologies and frameworks that can improve systems and processes
  • Develop and enhance process monitoring, reporting, and dashboards to improve system performance and reliability
