Requirements

Masters in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or other Engineering related field with 2 years of experience, or Bachelors in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or other Engineering related field with 5 years of experience
Advanced experience with Kubernetes Ecosystem: custom controllers, webhooks, operators, CRDs, and API server extensions
Strong proficiency in Go Programming for building Kubernetes controllers and high-performance systems
Backend Development: RESTful API design and microservices architecture
Job Scheduling: Distributed job scheduling and workload management systems
OCI Standards: Deep understanding of OCI registry protocols and artifact management
Production Systems: Building large-scale, distributed systems
Understanding of FPGA/EDA Tools: Quartus workflows and FPGA compilation processes (preferred)

Responsibilities

Develop custom Kubernetes controllers and operators for FPGA workloads and Quartus job management
Build and maintain admission controllers and validating/mutating webhooks
Design custom resource definitions (CRDs) for FPGA-specific workflows and job specifications
Implement job scheduling systems, queuing, and resource management
Architect OCI registry solutions for toolchain and artifact distribution
Build webhook-based automation for environment provisioning and job lifecycle management
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Develop core platform services for license management and resource allocation
Designs, develops, validates, and debugs software to enable Intel hardware features and to optimize for cloud, hybrid-cloud, and/or on-prem deployment models
Understands partner software stacks and optimizes full stack software (spanning firmware, drivers, OS, middleware, SDKs, frameworks, algorithms, and applications) as required to enable cloud software
May include the development of reference cloud platform software and improving or enabling customer designs to obtain the greatest value from Altera products within the cloud
May specialize in specific technology domains including data services (ingestion, database, analytics), AI/ML, and open-source development projects
