Requirements

  • High School Diploma with two years clinical research coordinator experience (minimum); Associates Degree in a medical related field and one-year clinical research experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of protocol design and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) as set forth by Federal Regulations and International Conference of Harmonization (ICH) Guidelines
  • Knowledge of International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations for transportation of Dangerous Goods
  • Ability to sit for and successfully obtain CCRC certification after two years of experience
  • Physically capable of lifting/moving supplies, records, and equipment; reading handwritten notations; bending, sitting/standing for extended periods; reaching/climbing; manual data entry
  • Computer skills with capability of using clinical trial databases, electronic data capture, Microsoft Word Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to problem-solve, prioritize quickly/accurately, and multi-task

Responsibilities

  • Carry out directives of the Director of Clinical Research in all aspects of care and treatment of clinical research subjects in compliance with study protocols
  • Manage assigned portfolio of studies, including regulatory requirements, informed consent, recruitment, accurate/timely completion of case report forms and patient visits (paper/electronic), data entry, laboratory, test article, adverse event reporting, and study close out
  • Ensure protocol compliance, Investigational Article accountability, and proper follow-up during clinical trials under direction of Director of Site Operations
  • Maintain highest level of professional conduct with investigators, subjects, research staff, sponsors, etc
  • Perform diverse administrative duties requiring analysis, sound judgment, and knowledge of study-specific protocols
  • Optimize flow of clinical research information (e.g., complete charting accurately/thoroughly and provide subject binder to Data Entry for EDC processing within 48 hours of patient visit)
  • Travel within the USA to attend Investigator meetings for new clinical trials as required
  • Adapt to fast-paced clinical research center environment and changing conditions
