Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in health sciences, medical, or a related field (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Affairs, Health Sciences, Public Health, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Nursing, Statistics, Pharmaceutical Sciences), and will remain enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above (to be verified at the date of hire during the spring background check)
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; no need for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities, leadership, and business acumen
  • Able to exercise independent judgment, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Skilled at managing priorities and workflow
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to the Clinical Operations team on a variety of ongoing projects
  • Assist with basic day-to-day tasks to help the team work more efficiently
  • Gain introductory experience in the clinical research field and learn foundational skills for supporting clinical projects
  • Work with different departments, such as R&D Engineering, Health Economics, Reimbursement & Market Access, Marketing, and Regulatory Affairs, to learn about clinical research programs and the regulated research environment
  • Help with organizing documents, tracking study activities, and maintaining clinical files as needed
  • Support the preparation of literature review summaries under supervision to learn about current clinical outcomes from recent published trials
