Responsibilities

Manage daily new claim assignments and REPO Plus inventories up to and exceeding 400 files
Review insurance policies and claim documentation to investigate potential coverage on damaged vehicles
Direct claim activities including coverage investigations, claim history investigations, estimate and appraisal requests/reviews, and payment or rejection of claims by outside insurance carriers (OICs)
Provide department training, auditing, mentoring, and workflow/process improvement
Act as a technical resource within the team and department, and provide support for the REPO Plus Claims Supervisor
Perform initial review of new assignments for potential insurance coverage
Identify opportunities for coverage investigation, new claim reporting to carriers, estimate/appraisal creation and review, prior claim history investigation, and demand creation/delivery to OICs
Conduct timely follow-up with OICs on payment or rejection of claim files and escalate rejected files as necessary
Meet individual QA targets and Recovery targets set by REPO Plus management
Provide training as directed by the REPO Plus Claims Supervisor, including new hire training, evergreen training, and cross-position training
Serve as an escalation resource for claims requiring escalation from REPO Plus Adjusters or other department members
Take on additional pending inventory during associate departures, inventory reduction exercises, or for one-off claim assignments outside normal workflow
Complete Department of Insurance complaints/inquiries as needed
Provide feedback and assistance for workflow/process reviews and enhancements, including testing workflows, discovery/design for new processes, and feedback on current processes
Assist the REPO Plus Claims Supervisor with work assignment, auditing existing/closed inventory, client communications on claim inquiries, and acting as an additional point of contact for lenders
