Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
Advanced Excel Skills (including concatenation, VLookup, logic formulas, and pivot tables)
1+ year applicable experience
Beginning level SQL, Tableau, Crystal or similar business analytic program skills
Intermediate skill level with analytic tools and programming languages
Strong attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow direction and accept supervision
Ability to identify patterns in large data sets and resolve outstanding claims
Moderate/minimal understanding of data and analytics and the ability to turn both into useful information
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Basic mathematical skills (ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals)
Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Ability to address problems

Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining queries and reports in reconciling and managing certain claim sets
Validating results
Completing projects and tasks from beginning to completion with minimal to moderate support
Developing pre-defined reporting that is not complex and does not require significant development experience
Handling uncomplicated tasks and projects
Researching, assessing, and exploring data for quality and accuracy
Preparing and maintaining reports from single or multiple data sources as requested and based on business needs
Maintaining deep knowledge of the organization’s data and practice to give valuable recommendations, continuously sharpen skills, and positively impact the organization’s success
Analyzing trends in data and communicating findings to leadership or stakeholders in a meaningful and relatable way
Committing to continuously improve data collection, being sensitive to changing needs, and organizing and prioritizing based on current needs
Functioning in accordance with Operational Guidelines and within professional code of ethics
Participating in and contributing to various staff development activities
Being sensitive and responsible to management needs, such as data collection, program evaluation, development of grant applications, maintenance of various contracts for services, etc
Participating in all required meetings
Regularly participating in evaluation of self and assigned staff according to Operational Guidelines
Performing other special functions as outlined
