Requirements

3+ years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of water distribution and sewer collection systems
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field
EIT Certification
Experience in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water/sewer pipeline projects for public agencies
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience with OpenRoads Designer (preferred)
Experience with water and/or sewer modeling (preferred)
Experience in designing pumping, treatment, and/or storage facilities (preferred)

Responsibilities

Prepare engineering design files, specifications, cost estimates, models, and reports for water/sewer projects
Coordinate work of multiple engineering disciplines and subconsultants
Assist with client relationship building and marketing efforts
Represent AMT at professional association events
Support engineering staff in the preparation of construction documents
