Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • 15+ years leading continuous improvement initiatives within industrial/manufacturing environments
  • 10+ years in a management role with direct reports
  • 8+ years leading CI in commercial and industrial manufacturing settings
  • Green/Black Belt, TPS, or Lean Certification preferred
  • Strong data analytics capabilities, including trend analysis and root cause problem-solving
  • Expertise in facilitating multi-day rapid improvement events (PFEP, VSM, MDI, TPM, 5S, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver on financial savings targets
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present professional reports and training sessions
  • Proficiency in MS Pr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement CI strategies aligned with Xylem’s business objectives, ensuring long-term operational excellence
  • Manage a team of CI professionals, providing coaching, development, and mentorship to drive operational improvements
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and process enhancements using Lean, Six Sigma, and Toyota Production System principles
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, site managers, and cross-functional teams to embed a culture of continuous improvement
  • Lead Lean transformations, drive efficiency initiatives, and ensure measurable financial benefits
  • Facilitate CI training, coaching, and Kaizen rapid improvement events to enhance team capabilities
  • Develop, track, and report key CI metrics, ensuring alignment with regional goals
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices to enhance Xylem’s CI capabilities
