Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in semiconductor test engineering, preferably with ATE systems like Advantest V93000 (Verigy 93K)
  • Proficient in test program development, debugging, and optimization for ATE platforms
  • Solid understanding of digital, analog, or mixed-signal test methodologies
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Python, Excel, custom scripts) for yield and failure analysis
  • Strong grasp of semiconductor device behavior and production test flow requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across engineering, operations, and QA teams
  • Self-driven with strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Experience with DFT and scan test integration is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ATE test programs for production testing on Verigy 93K or equivalent test platforms
  • Collaborate with design and characterization teams to define pass/fail criteria and test limits based on silicon behavior and performance
  • Bring-up and validate initial production test programs in both engineering and production environments
  • Work directly on the test floor, overseeing and troubleshooting test execution, and ensuring smooth operation during high-volume production
  • Analyze test data using statistical methods (e.g., yield analysis, parametric trends, failure correlation) to identify root causes of failures and performance issues
  • Provide feedback to design, DFT, and product engineering teams for continuous improvement of test coverage, performance, and yield
  • Drive test time reduction, cost optimization, and quality enhancements for production test flows
  • Support NPI (New Product Introduction) by interfacing with operations, product and quality teams
  • Participate in cross-functional reviews to assess and refine test strategy and production readiness
  • Ensure adherence to industry and internal quality standards and support audits and compliance requirements
