Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Ability to work full-time with various shifts and work hours
  • Competency in emergency operational procedures, including CPR and emergency measures
  • Knowledge of administering medications and IV conscious sedation per physician orders and regulations
  • Experience or ability to work in clinic setting and conduct initial home visits with another staff member
  • Compliance with company, state, federal regulations, OSHA, and risk management initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate facility operations and patient procedures with Facility Manager, staff, and physicians to ensure quality patient care
  • Support and drive quality standards through regulatory compliance, Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), and action plans
  • Assist with staffing, staff training, equipment management, physician and patient relations, cost containment, supply management, medical records, patient billing, and all compliance
  • Coordinate all aspects of patient care from admission through discharge, including assessments, education, and documentation
  • Educate patients and families on post-procedure care, vascular access, and home therapies (peritoneal and home hemodialysis)
  • Ensure timely scheduling of procedures, efficient facility capacity utilization, and accurate documentation of treatments, orders, consents, and lab work
  • Act as a resource for staff on patient concerns, provide direct patient care and monitoring as needed, and communicate patient issues to Facility Manager
  • Maintain integrity of medical records, environmental safety, and compliance with data collections and auditing
  • Ensure regular communication with physicians, participate in Governing Body and CQI meetings, and assist with meeting preparation
  • Address adverse events, implement training per policy, and maintain facility environmental integrity
