Requirements
Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license, and possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly within a dialysis or related medical facility, is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Responsibilities
The Charge Registered Nurse will coordinate facility operations and patient procedures to ensure quality patient care, assisting with staffing, training, and compliance with policies and procedures. They will be responsible for supporting and driving quality standards through CQI, implementing quality goals, and addressing adverse events. The RN will also provide nursing support to patients, assess patients, administer medications, coordinate patient care, and ensure accurate documentation of patient treatments and lab results. Furthermore, they will act as a resource for staff, address patient concerns, and assume responsibility in emergency situations.
