Requirements

Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid and current license to practice in the state of employment. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, and a minimum of three years of experience as an RN, with at least one year of experience in hemodialysis nursing, is required. Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of dialysis procedures are essential.

Responsibilities

The Charge Registered Nurse will provide day-to-day direction and supervision to assigned direct patient care staff, offering ongoing feedback and participating in staffing and disciplinary actions. They will ensure compliance with company, facility, and regulatory policies, monitor patient care plans, conduct patient care assessments, and implement changes in treatment as directed. Additionally, the Charge RN will coordinate charge nurse duties, participate in patient care plan meetings, maintain shift operations, and communicate effectively with the physician and healthcare team.
