Position Overview

Keeper Security is seeking a driven Channel Account Manager, Distribution (DCAM) to join the Keeper Channel Sales team. This is a 100% remote position with the opportunity for a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL metro area. You will be responsible for building pipeline and channel revenue with high-performance distribution partners.

About the Role

The Channel Account Manager, Distribution will report to the Manager of Global Distribution and Operations. This role focuses on building pipeline and channel revenue with Broadline Distribution and specialty distribution partners. The ideal candidate is extremely motivated, results-driven, and possesses a strong network within the channel ecosystem.


Responsibilities

  • Partner Management:
    • Responsible for the day-to-day recruitment and relationship management of distribution partners.
    • Act as a liaison between Keeper and assigned distributors.
    • Build, maintain, and manage relationships with current and prospective distributors.
    • Establish productive, professional relationships with key sales and channel personnel in assigned accounts.
    • Coordinate the involvement of Keeper personnel (support, service, management) to meet distribution performance objectives and partner expectations.
  • Revenue & Strategy:
    • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
    • Manage direct/channel conflict by fostering excellent communication between distribution/channel and direct sales teams.
    • Participate in planning to develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for partner relationships.
    • Identify distribution Go-To-Market (GTM) and/or services offerings; collaborate with distribution sales resources, marketing, etc., to develop and launch offerings for incremental joint revenue achievement.
    • Build relationships with technology vendors to identify mutual greenfield opportunities with shared partners.
  • Operations & Marketing:
    • Ensure partner compliance with Channel Partner programs and agreements.
    • Maintain channel opportunity registrations in Salesforce.com and assist the direct sales team in closing channel-generated leads.
    • Plan and execute Channel Marketing activities and events to support brand awareness and demand generation with distribution.
  • Travel:
    • Ability to travel to and from customer meetings (locally and nationally).
    • Ability to rent and/or operate a vehicle on behalf of the company.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of security SaaS channel sales experience.
  • 5+ years of direct distribution CAM management experience with Broadline Distribution.
  • Proven success driving revenue growth via channel partners.
  • Good understanding of Partner Incentive programs and PRM (Partner Relationship Management) tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented.
