Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds
Ability to work part-time schedule of 48-71 hours every 2 weeks

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, bed making, transfers, repositioning, toileting, serving/collecting food trays, feeding, answering call lights, maintaining clean environment, transporting, ambulation, and orienting/reorienting residents
Perform vital signs measurements (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, weight) and document concise, factual information on appropriate forms
Assist residents with specific medical care activities per policy/procedure, including restorative exercises, collecting specimens, assessing/documenting completed cares, and providing immediate feedback to nursing staff on resident status changes, pain, or concerns
Assist with restocking supplies, maintaining work environment, and performing cleaning procedures
Participate in providing emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families
Comply with resident rights, including confidentiality/privacy, and report allegations of abuse or misappropriation of property
Follow policies/procedures for fire, tornado, evacuation, disaster plans, universal precautions, infection control, and hazardous/chemical communication
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, families, and staff
