Requirements

  • RN with current unrestricted Virginia state licensure
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • 3 years clinical experience (med surg, behavioral health)
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time (mileage reimbursed)
  • Work from home in VA residence with reliable phone and hard-wired internet service
  • Ability to work Mon-Fri 8-5 PM EST, reachable via phone, videoconference, and email during work hours
  • Secure and private HIPAA-compliant workspace; personal responsibilities (e.g., dependent care) must not interfere
  • Proficient in multisystem navigation, using multiple monitors/systems simultaneously
  • Effective multitasker (talking and typing concurrently with focus and accuracy)
  • Basic technical troubleshooting (set up/connect hardware like monitors/keyboards, resolve common issues)
  • Experienced in electronic documentation and virtual collaboration tools
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, metric-driven, with clean/efficient workspace management

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating all case management activities with members
  • Evaluating the medical needs of members to facilitate overall wellness
  • Developing a proactive course of action to address issues and enhance short- and long-term outcomes
  • Enhancing member wellness through integration of services, strategies, policies, and programs including network management and clinical coverage policies
  • Field-based work in multiple locations (company/client sites, facilities, member homes, community locations)
  • Meeting productivity, quality expectations, and performance metrics in office/WAH/field environments
