Candidates must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, unrestricted license in the state of California, and possess the ability to obtain necessary certifications such as CRNI or other relevant specialties. They should have experience in infusion therapy, including central venous catheters (Groshong/Hickman), and a strong understanding of pulmonary and cardiovascular conditions, specifically Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). Additionally, candidates are required to reside within one hour of Los Angeles International Airport and demonstrate advanced computer skills and excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
As a Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator, the RN will consult with physicians and clinicians to coordinate patient care plans, assist patients initiating or transitioning to PAH therapies through infusion and inhalation training, and develop relationships with patients and caregivers in a one-on-one setting. The role involves travel throughout California, including overnight visits and occasional travel to Los Angeles, as well as participation in on-call duties and collaboration with the sales team to support patient education and care.
